JIU-JITSU FOR

EVERYONE

WELCOME TO GRACIE BARRA

At the heart of the Gracie Barra Family’s extraordinary success over the years is our strong philosophy and mission as a group, a foundation which our masters laid many years ago, but is constantly being reinforced by the great people that make our community. Jiu-Jitsu is a beautiful art, and we have a vision of how it should be taught as a means for individual development going beyond the competitive realm. To achieve this vision, we must remember to come together as a family, always putting the team in front of individual. For that, we will fight to the end for what we believe is right.

Gracie Barra Lake Nona is conveniently located in Orlando, FL on Lee Vista Blvd (inside the Vista Palms Plaza). Our Lake Nona location happily serves the men, women, and children of East Orlando.

Private Training Sessions

Group classes are the best proven way to teach Jiu-Jitsu, since the diversity of training partners creates more and different challenges allowing a student to improve more quickly. However, private classes are definitely an essential complement that no serious Jiu-Jitsu student should do without.

Meet Adrian Jaoude,

the heart and soul of Gracie Barra Lake Nona, where he proudly serves as the head professor. A third-degree black belt under the legendary Master Carlos Gracie Jr., Adrian brings an unparalleled depth of knowledge and passion to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. But his expertise doesn't stop there; he's also a third-degree black belt in Luta Livre Esportiva under Master Hugo Duarte, a black belt in Aikido from Hombu Dojo in Japan, a Ruas Vale Tudo black belt, and a Black Kru in Muay Thai. With a storied wrestling career that includes being a 17-time Brazilian champion, a silver medalist at the Dan Kolov World Wrestling Tournament, two-time South American Greco-Roman champion and part of the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Team. Adrian's accolades extend far beyond the mat.

Adrian's journey took him to the world of professional wrestling, where he made history as WWE’s first Brazilian signee and the first Brazilian to appear on Monday Night Raw as Arturo Ruas. Despite these accomplishments, Adrian remains deeply grounded in his faith and family, cherishing his role as a devoted husband and father of three. His spirituality is a guiding force, and he thrives on supporting and uplifting others, both on and off the mats. At Gracie Barra Lake Nona, Adrian Jaoude is more than just a coach; he’s a mentor, a friend, and an inspiring presence dedicated to helping each student achieve their best, embracing the martial arts journey with heart, discipline, and unwavering support.
